SKU C9310

This stunning, fine and impressive Victorian ruby ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.

The pierced decorated marquise shaped setting displays a central 0.50ct cushion cut claw set ruby, flanked to the upper and lower borders with 0.40ct pear cut rubies.

The rubies are encompassed with twenty claw set diamonds, in a combination of Old European and eight cuts, totalling 1.55cts.

The scroll decorated shoulders integrate with the main setting at a subtle cuff design and blend with the plain ring shank.

This ruby and diamond ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold.

This impressive 1890s ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card, in addition to a ruby report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*.

This Victorian pear cut ruby ring in yellow gold is a romantic choice for anniversaries, Valentine's Day or a July birthday. Its antique charm also makes it ideal for collectors, lovers of period jewellery or marking a meaningful life moment with timeless elegance.

Such untreated ruby rings of this period in this high quality and condition are becoming increasingly difficult to locate; this Victorian ring is one the finest you could hope to acquire.

NOTE: * This documentation accredits the ruby originating in Thailand/Cambodia and certifies that the gemstone shows no indications of heating.
