The millegrain decorated mount displays an impressive collet set 2.30ct round faceted cut Ceylon blue sapphire to the centre of the design.
The sapphire is encircled by twelve pavé set Old European round cut diamonds.
The plain, broad ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the 18ct white gold ring shank.
This impressive vintage sapphire and diamond ring is hallmarked to the outer surface with the French mark for platinum (dog's head) and 18ct gold (eagle's head); the multitude and arrangement of these hallmarks is consistent with the French weight system markings.
The ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold and platinum.
