8.72ct Opal and 0.28ct Diamond, 18ct Yellow Gold Dress Ring - Vintage Circa 1950

This stunning, fine and impressive vintage opal ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.

The pierced decorated setting is ornamented with a stunning feature collet set 8.72ct cabochon cut opal; such opals displaying red tones are highly desirable.

The opal is flanked on either side by five claw set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds, totalling 0.28ct.

The broad ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the hallmarked ring shank.

The vintage ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the 18ct gold fineness mark (K18).
