The pierced decorated octagonal ring setting is ornamented with a 2.38ct emerald cut Ceylon sapphire, four-claw set in relief to the centre.
The central sapphire is encircled by eighteen pavé set eight cut diamonds, totalling 0.30cts.
The pierced decorated ring shank integrates with the main setting and blends seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank.
The outer surface of the shank is hallmarked with the 18ct gold mark (eagle's head) and the platinum census mark (rhino head); the interior of the shank bears the engraved inscription '1941'.
This impressive 1940's ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card*.
