This magnificent, fine and impressive contemporary gemstone pendant has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.
The upper portion of the oval shaped setting displays a multitude of gold floral designs ornamented with multi-gemstone accents including: six emeralds, five opals, six iolite, two freshwater pearls and five cultured pearls.
The floral design is further embellished with seven modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The lower portion of the anterior and posterior surfaces bears a brushed finish.
This gemstone suspends from a contemporary yellow gold 18" chain via a detachable textured, broad looped bale to the upper border of the design; the piece has been displayed on a fine chain, however, due to the substantial gauge of gold, it is advisable to use a broader chain for both balance and support.
This versatile pendant may also be worn as a brooch via a hinged pin and clasp to the reverse.
The pendant is hallmarked to the reverse with the 18ct gold mark (750) and the makers mark (PP - PP (Peter Plöderl*); the pendant brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18ct gold.
This impressive pendant/brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
This Peter Plöderl multi gemstone gold pendant brooch is a distinctive designer piece, combining artistic vision with bold use of colour and form, making it an exceptional choice for those seeking something truly individual. The versatility of a pendant brooch further enhances its appeal, allowing it to be worn traditionally on a jacket, dress or scarf, or suspended from a chain as a pendant for an alternative and equally striking presentation.
* Peter Plöderl is an innovative jeweller based in Heidelberg. His distinctive style shows cultural relevance, in addition to providing some fashion-runway flare. The goldsmith centres on the use of found objects, such as antiquities, coins and artefacts, set within bold compositions enhanced by vibrant gemstones. Often created as one-off pieces, his jewellery is rarely encountered at auction and even more seldom found outside Germany.
