6ct Ruby and 1.31ct Diamond, Platinum Bow Brooch - Antique Circa 1925

£7,645.00

A stunning antique 6 carat Burmese ruby and 1.31 carat diamond, platinum bow brooch; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections

SKU C2887

This stunning, fine and impressive antique ruby brooch has been crafted in platinum.

The brooch has been modelled in the form of a layered bow.

The quadruple-looped bow is ornamented with a total of forty-four collet set square cut Burmese rubies, with a combined carat weight of 6.00cts.

The antique ruby bow brooch is embellished with central band of forty pavé set eight-cut diamonds; this contrasting array reflects the orientation of the ribbon to the knot.

The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clap fastening.

The brooch is hallmarked to the pin with the maker's mark.

This antique gemstone bow brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.

The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card in addition to a certificate provided by the Gemmological Certification Services*.

NOTE: * This documentation accredits the rubies originating in Myanmar (Burma) and certifies that the gemstone shows no indications of heating; non-heated rubies are a scarcity.
