Description

This exceptional antique Edward VIII English sterling silver bowl has a circular rounded form onto a circular domed spreading foot.

The body of this antique silver footed bowl is plain and unembellished with an applied moulded border to the upper rim.

This exceptional example of antique silverware is fitted with two cast and applied handles, each fashioned in the form of lion's masks grasping a hallmarked sterling silver drop-ring handle.

The bowl has been crafted by the chairman of Harrods Ltd, Richard Woodman Burbridge and bears the world famous department store's retailer mark 'Harrods, London SW' to the underside.
