An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edward VIII English sterling silver presentation bowl; an addition to our range of collectable silverware

This exceptional antique Edward VIII English sterling silver footed bowl has a circular rounded form onto a circular domed spreading foot.


The body of this antique silver bowl is plain and unembellished with an applied moulded border to the upper rim.


This exceptional example of antique silverware is fitted with two cast and applied handles, each fashioned in the form of lion's masks grasping a hallmarked sterling silver drop-ring handle.


The bowl has been crafted by the chairman of Harrods Ltd, Richard Woodman Burbridge and bears the world famous department store's retailer mark 'Harrods, London SW' to the underside.

This antique sterling silver bowl is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The bowl has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the bowl and part hallmarks to the handles are all very clear.
