6.09ct Diamond and 10ct Yellow Gold Bar Brooch - Antique Circa 1900

£4,895.00

An exceptional, fine and impressive antique 6.09 carat diamond and 10 carat yellow gold, silver set bar brooch; part of our antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections

SKU A5764

This exceptional, fine and impressive antique diamond brooch has been crafted in 10ct yellow gold with a silver setting.

The pierced decorated frame is embellished with a central feature 0.30ct Old European round cut diamond, claw set in subtle relief.

The feature diamond is encircled with ten Old European round cut diamonds, creating a cluster design.

The linear frame is ornamented with two rows of Old European round cut diamonds at either side of the central cluster.

The brooch's conjoined rows bifurcate outwards at each terminal, incorporating a further claw set 0.28ct and 0.25ct Old European round cut diamond.

This fine example of antique jewellery secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clip style fastening.

The brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report certificate for the central diamond in addition to the IDGL diamond grading report card shown.

This 1900's bar brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 10ct gold.

Such original, antique hand-crafted brooches crafted with a combination of diamonds and metals to create a complimenting contrast are becoming more difficult to locate.

This Victorian diamond bar brooch combines restrained linear design with the refined craftsmanship characteristic of late 19th-century jewellery. The elongated bar form creates balanced proportions, while the diamonds provide concentrated brilliance and subtle visual emphasis. Its versatile design allows it to be worn on a lapel, dress or scarf, making it particularly suited to milestone birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and other significant occasions. The brooch's Victorian provenance and timeless elegance also give it enduring heirloom and collector appeal.

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.

Date: Circa 1900

This antique brooch is excellent quality, set with impressive diamonds displaying fine brilliance and presence.

The brooch is an excellent gauge of gold and silver, and is in excellent condition.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of diamond jewellery.
