This stunning, fine and impressive antique Art Deco necklace has been crafted in 14ct white gold with a platinum chain.
This stunning necklace is ornamented with nine rectangular settings ornamented with five Old European round cut diamonds alternating with four oval faceted cut sapphires, all pavé set.
The antique sapphire necklace design is further embellished with pierced decorated geometric Art Deco rectangular motifs, completing the anterior setting.
The setting suspends from a platinum chain and secures to the reverse with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening.
This exceptional example of 1920s jewellery is hallmarked to the anterior surface with the Russian maker's mark (СФ) and the reverse with three face marks (woman’s head in profile wearing a kokoshnik - lozenge frame*).
This necklace has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14 carat gold and platinum.
