SKU C9823

This stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian brooch has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold with silver settings.

The bar brooch has been modelled in the form of a swan.

The body of the swan is embellished with an impressive yellow gold collet set 1.50ct cabochon cut opal.

The neck, wing and tail feathers of the bird are ornamented with twenty-three pavé set Dutch cut diamonds; these hand-cut stones contribute to the distinctly antique character of the piece.

The swan's head incorporates a pavé set Old European round cut diamond to a single 0.01ct cabochon cut ruby, representing the eye.

The lower portion of the brooch bears sinuous intertwining designs creating the imagary of the water, ornamneted with evelen further pavé set Dutch cut diamonds.

The yellow gold bar of the brooch terminates to either end with an individually claw set round faceted blue sapphire, totalling 0.90cts.

This brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and C shaped clasp fastening.

This impressive antique bird brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9 carat gold and silver.

This stunning opal brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
