Description

These stunning, fine and impressive vintage sapphire earrings has been crafted in 9ct white gold.

Each articulated drop has a stunning, feature four claw set Ceylon sapphire, in a combination of cushion and oval cut.

The sapphires each support three individually claw set marquise cut diamonds, articulating from the lower border.

The linear drops are each composed of two claw set marquise cut diamonds, with an oval cut diamond to the apex.

The earrings secure to the reverse with hallmarked, platinum butterfly fastenings.

These 1960s sapphire drop earrings been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9 carat gold.

The stunning Ceylon sapphire earrings are supplied with a sapphire report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*, in addition to a diamond grading report card for the supporting diamonds.

NOTE: * This documentation accredits the blue sapphires originating in Sri Lanka (Ceylon) and certifies that the gemstones show no indications of heating; non-heated sapphires are a scarcity.
