It can also work beautifully as a non-traditional engagement ring, especially for someone drawn to coloured gemstones and antique-inspired designs, as emerald rings have long been chosen for engagement jewellery due to their uniqueness and rich symbolism.

"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone in this 1920s emerald and diamond ring.

Date: Circa 1920

This stunning antique ring is excellent quality, set with an impressive emerald displaying a fine colour, brilliance and presence.

The impressive high colour graded diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance; although average clarity graded at P1, as often the case with such antique multi-diamond rings, the diamonds face up white and brilliant.

The ring is an excellent gauge of platinum and is in excellent condition.

The ring has a fine and delicate shank, which is often the case with original antique rings.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique emerald jewellery/estate jewelry.
