This stunning, fine and impressive antique Edwardian sapphire brooch has been crafted in 18ct white gold.
The pierced decorated oval shaped setting is embellished with a feature stunning 2.50ct cushion mixed cut Basaltic sapphire encircled with twelve claw set Old European diamonds, creating a floral head design.
The floral design is ornamented with a claw set 1.00ct and 1.02ct oval faceted cut sapphire, amidst an asymmetrical array of individual claw set Old European cut diamonds.
The oval scrolling frame of the brooch is further embellished with pavé set diamonds, completing the design.
The antique sapphire brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening.
This sapphire and diamond brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold.
This impressive sapphire brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card, in addition to a sapphire report certificate from the Birmingham Assay Office*.
