This stunning, fine and impressive antique sapphire and diamond ring has been crafted in 15ct yellow gold.
The pierced decorated, scalloped edged cluster design is ornamented with a feature 1.70ct oval faceted blue sapphire, claw set to the centre.
The sapphire is surrounded by fourteen claw and pavé set diamonds, in a combination of Old European and Dutch cuts, totalling 3.92cts.
The tapering scroll decorated 15ct yellow gold ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank.
The 1930s sapphire and diamond cluster ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 carat gold.
This antique gemstone cluster ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report card, in addition to a sapphire report certificate from The Gem and Pearl Laboratory Limited, 43 Kirby Street, London*.
This navette sapphire and diamond ring in gold utilises an elongated, symmetrical form to optimise visual proportion and finger coverage. The navette design, characteristic of antique and vintage jewellery, enhances perceived length while maintaining structural balance. The sapphire provides concentrated colour, contrasted by diamond brilliance to achieve optical clarity and emphasis. This integration of form and material supports both aesthetic refinement and symbolic value, making the ring suitable for milestone anniversaries, birthdays, and significant celebrations.
NOTE: * This documentation accredits the sapphire bearing geological occurrence common to Thailand, Australia and East Africa and certifies that the gemstone shows no evidence of heat treatment.
