An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Art Nouveau English sterling silver bachelor three piece tea set; an addition to our Edwardian silverware collection

This exceptional, antique Edwardian three-piece sterling silver tea service consists of a teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl.


Each piece of this fine antique tea set has a circular waisted, spool form, all in the desirable Art Nouveau manner.


The body of each piece is plain and unembellished.


The teapot is fitted with a hinged hallmarked subtly domed cover retain the original carved wood finials, ornamented to the upper plateau with a silver tri-lobed spiralling motif; this added detail indicates the very high quality of the service.


The silver teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug are fitted with plain angular silver handles.


This Art Nouveau silver tea service from the Edwardian period exemplifies early 20th-century craftsmanship through the integration of functional design and artistic form. Characterised by flowing lines and nature-derived motifs, it reflects the core principles of the Art Nouveau movement while maintaining practical utility. As a complete set, it operates both as a serving instrument and a visual centrepiece, reinforcing the cultural ritual and social refinement associated with traditional tea service.

This antique Edwardian tea set is an excellent gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition.

Each piece of this silver tea set has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

The interior of each piece has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each piece, in addition to part hallmarks to the interior of the covers are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the excellent gauge of silver.
