0.80ct Diamond and Ruby, 9ct Yellow Gold Pin Brooch - Victorian Circa 1880

£1,995.00

A fine and impressive antique 0.80 carat diamond and 0.08 carat ruby, 9 carat yellow gold and silver set pin brooch; part of our diverse Victorian jewellery collection

SKU C9718

This fine and impressive antique diamond brooch has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold with silver settings.

The bar brooch has been modelled in the form of a fox hunting scene, with a single fox to one end and three hounds to the other.

The fox is embellished with eleven diamonds and the hounds bear thirty six Dutch cut diamonds, all pavé set Dutch cuts.

Each animal's eye is represented by a round faceted cut ruby, totalling 0.08ct.

This antique brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and safety catch.

This fox hunting bar brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9 carat gold and silver.

This 1880's brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.

This Victorian diamond fox hunt pin brooch is a distinctive and characterful piece, reflecting traditional sporting themes and countryside heritage. It makes a thoughtful gift for milestone birthdays, retirements or for those with an appreciation for equestrian and rural pursuits.

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.

Date: Circa 1880

This impressive Victorian brooch is excellent quality, set with high colour and clarity graded diamonds displaying a fine white colour and brilliance.

The rubies display fine colour and brilliance.

This diamond hunting brooch is an excellent gauge of gold and silver, and in excellent condition.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this impressive fox hunt brooch.
