This exceptional, fine and impressive antique Art Deco dressing table set consists of a scent bottle, a covered jewellery jar and a perfume atomiser.

The pieces of this stunning George V dressing table set have each been modelled in the iconic Art Deco style and crafted in sterling silver, hot enamel, and stained, coloured, acid etched and cut glass.

Each piece within this impressive antique glass dressing table set has an angular, geometric form, with a pentagonal anterior and a feature triangular panel.

Each of the triangular panels features impressive hot enamel decoration depicting curving black shapes extending from each top right corner, resembling part of an abstract flower design.

The fitted, detachable lid of the impressive jewellery/pin jar features a further hot enamel panel, on which the floral design is extended, in addition to two engine turned decorated panels and one plain panel.

The scent bottle features an impressive pentagonal glass stopper, which fits to the bottle via a sterling silver geometric, rectangular neck with cut upper corners.

The necks of the scent bottle and the perfume atomiser each feature further hot enamel decoration to the anterior panel and engine turned decoration to the panels on either side.

The perfume atomiser is fitted with a sterling silver nozzle which incorporates engine turned decoration to its waisted neck, finial and spout.

This stunning hallmarked antique glass dressing table set displays the most iconic and typically Art Deco design Andrew Campbell has had the pleasure to include within his inventory. The design reflects that of pieces produced by the renowned well Art Deco glass manufacturer Karl Palda (founded in 1888 in Haida, Nový Bor, Bohemia).

Date: 1933

This antique dressing table set is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

There is some slight discolouration to the white enamel decoration on the jewellery jar, in keeping with age.

The tip of the original stopper and the base of the atomiser both show a slight loss to glass, in keeping with age.

Hallmarks struck to the mounted silver rims of the pieces and the cover of the jewellery jar are all clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this impressive example of antique glassware.
