This exceptional and rare antique Victorian cast sterling silver pepperette has been realistically modelled in the form of a poodle.

This impressive and rare pepperette / pepper shaker is embellished with details reproducing the dog's anatomical features and curling fur, including the iconic 'lion' style poodle cut.

This exceptional example of silver cruets and condiments retains the original fully hallmarked push fit cover/head which features pierced 'pepper' holes to the upper portion.

Such unusual and rare models are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.

This antique silver pepperette is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The cast decoration is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the dog's chest and sleeve of the cover/head are all very clear.
